The Anton Art Center and the Jazz Federation of Musicians of New York City are sponsoring a jazz concert and poetry reading this evening.
The event, which starts at 7 p.m., is free and open to the public. The art center is located at 125 Macomb Place in Mount Clemens.
The saxophonist Larry Smith and the RJ Spangler Trio Live will provide music with guest poets and writers L. Bush, Dave Hardin, M. Jane Roberts, Sharon Franco, Judy Johnson, Steven Gulvezan, Andy Vinstra, Yvonne Vinstra, Donna Vinstra and Mark Morgan reading their work.
The event is hosted by poet and Wayne State University professor M.L. Liebler.
