Ashish S. Joshi, Managing Partner of Lorandos Joshi P.C. in Ann Arbor, has been appointed as the Executive Editor and the next Editor-in-Chief of Litigation.
Litigation, published quarterly by the American Bar Association's Section of Litigation, is the preeminent journal in the field of trial practice.
Litigation's editorial policy is to offer practical but lively information for lawyers who go to court and the judges who hear their cases. Whatever their fields-whether antitrust or accidents, business torts or maritime torts, libel or labor relations-and whatever the forum, litigators have common problems and interests. They also have skills and stories worth sharing. In Litigation, those problems and interests are examined, those skills highlighted, those stories told. Litigation seeks to be practical and concrete, not abstract and theoretical and the journal aspires to present scholarly articles albeit without a long face.
Joshi, who earned his Master of Laws from the University of Michigan School of Law, focuses his practice on white-collar criminal defense, complex commercial litigation, and cross-border litigation and dispute resolution. A prolific speaker and an author, he has written and spoken extensively on these topics.
Apart from serving on the Board of Editors for Litigation, Joshi also serves on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL) and is the co-chair for the Business Law Section of the Washtenaw County Bar Association.
