The Women's Council of Washtenaw County will celebrate the 28th Annual ATHENA Awards with Keynote Speaker Judith E. Levy, United States District Judge, and Mistress of Ceremonies Amanda Edmonds, Mayor of Ypsilanti.
The event will be held 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., Thursday, May 28, at the Ann Arbor City Club, 1830 Washtenaw Ave.
The three award finalists are: Dr. Diana Wong, EMU Professor & CEO/President of Sensei Change Assoc. LLC; Cheryl Elliott, Former CEO/Director of Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti Community Foundation and Glynis Anderson, CEO/Founder of Home of New Vision, Ann Arbor. The winner will be announced at the dinner.
The Women's Council will also award its first Educational Scholarships.
