The Solo and Small Firm Section of the State Bar of Michigan recently hosted a seminar providing “Criminal Law and Procedure Basics” at Andiamo in Bloomfield Twp. Speakers included (left to right) Oakland County 51st District Court Judge Jodi Debbrecht Switalski, Waterford attorney Elias J. Escobedo, and Macomb County Circuit Court Judge Mark S. Switalski. Among those on hand to welcome the speakers was Farmington Hills attorney and program chair Elizabeth Silverman (far right). “We are very lucky to have two judges, a circuit court judge and a district court judge, and a very experienced litigator, Elias Escobedo,” noted Silverman.
