Jon H. Beaupré, a shareholder in the Ann Arbor office of Brinks Gilson & Lione, one of the largest intellectual property law firms in the U.S., will serve as a presenter for the third in a series of Brinks webinars hosted by the firm’s Post-Grant Practice Group on recent developments in post-grant proceedings. The webinar is set 1 to 2 p.m. EST, Sept. 29.
Beaupré will discuss recent proposed rule changes in America Invents Act (AIA) proceedings. He will be joined by Ralph Gabric from the firm’s Chicago office, who will speak on practice tips for inter partes review (IPR) success, and Allyn Elliott, from the firm’s Research Triangle office in North Carolina, who will speak on the evolution of motions to amend at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB).
At Brinks, Beaupré is co-chair of the firm’s Post-Grant Patent Practice Group. He focuses on litigation, proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), such as inter partes reviews (IPRs), and appeals.
