Lt. Gov. Brian Calley will be among the featured speakers at a program Tuesday, Nov. 12 at the Auburn Hills campus of Western Michigan University Cooley Law School.
The program, titled “Paradigm Shift: Changing Law and Education to Better Support Addiction Recovery,” will take place from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Cooley, according to Cooley Prof. Lauren Rousseau, who is organizing the event.
Rousseau noted that Calley serves as chairman of the governor’s Prescription Drug & Opiate Abuse Task Force, which recently released its recommendations.
Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door, and MCBAP (Michigan Certification Board of Addiction Professionals) credits will be available.
