Blaine Ryan DeGracia is an associate attorney at Regulatory Management Counselors, P.C. (RMC Legal) and was part of RMC Legal’s internship program while attending Michigan State University for his undergraduate degree.
He received his juris doctorate degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School where he was a member of the Moot Court.
His areas of focus include gaming and intellectual property law.
In 2013 DeGracia received the Professional Achievement Award for the Practical Experience Program of the Office of the Washtenaw County Public Defender.

What would surprise people about your job? My job still surprises me each day. Not many people have heard of casino gaming law as it is a very boutique field of practice.
What is your most treasured material possession? My grandpa’s Colt .38 Detective Special he carried while a Detroit police officer.
Favorite local hangouts: Knob Hill Tavern.
Favorite websites, software, apps: Google.
What are you currently reading? “Waking Up: A Guide to Spirituality Without Religion” by Sam Harris.
What do you wish someone would invent? More time.
How do you recharge? Hiking and eating well.
Who would you trade places with for a day? Jason Mraz.
What’s the most awe-inspiring place you’ve ever been? Costa Rica.
What is your proudest moment as a lawyer? The day I passed the bar exam.
Describe your workspace. Not much of my desk can be seen underneath all of the disheveled papers and binders.
What do you do to relax? Watch a flick.
What is one thing you would like to learn to do? Fly an airplane.
What is the best advice you ever received? Sell your twenties to enjoy your thirties.
If you can help it, where will you never return? The DMV.
Favorite place to spend money: Burlington Coat Factory.
What is your motto? Treat others the same way you would like to be treated.
