MSP available to hold seminars on human trafficking
The Community Service Troopers of the Michigan State Police Metro Post are available to conduct educational seminars on the topic of human trafficking to all types of groups in Wayne, Oakland and Macomb Counties. With an estimated 100,000 and 300,000 children at risk for sexual exploitation in the U.S. with an average age of 11 to 14 years old, the Michigan State Police (MSP) wants to raise awareness about Human Trafficking. It is estimated that 76 percent of transactions for sex with underage girls start on the Internet.
To schedule a seminar, contact Trooper Mark Kellar at kellarm@michigan.gov or 313-215-3863.
