Firm named a ‘Product Liability Practice Group of the Year’

Bowman and Brooke LLP has been named a 2015 “Product Liability Practice Group of the Year” by Law360. This marks the sixth time the firm has received this distinction in the past seven years, a feat achieved by no other firm on the list.

Additionally, Law360 named the firm a “Product Liability All-Star” for having “consistently shown they can win big in significant product liability cases, each racking up multiple product liability practice group of the year wins in the past five years.”

The firm, which features one of the largest product liability groups in the country, was recognized for its pivotal role as lead and national counsel for Honda in the current Takata airbag crisis, and to Yamaha in its Rhino off-road vehicle litigation – two of the biggest product liability cases in recent automotive history.

Among its representation of many other major manufacturers, including those in the pharmaceutical, medical device, chemical, industrial equipment and consumer product industries, Bowman and Brooke also currently represents helmet-maker Riddell Inc. in the concussion MDL brought by former NFL players and a class action involving the NCAA.

“Bowman and Brooke earned its reputation as a preeminent product liability trial firm through three decades of diligent work and success in defending product manufacturers,” said firm Chairman Paul Cereghini. “We have deep experience defending high-visibility consolidated products litigation.”

The Practice Group of the Year series drew 730 submissions in 2015. A record 184 winners were selected across 30 practice areas for honors. The “All-Stars” list is comprised of firms that have earned multiple Product Liability Practice Group of the Year awards in the past five years.
