Dickinson Wright will sponsor an InvestUSA Workshop on Tuesday, March 8 at the Holiday Inn & Suites Ambassador Bridge in Windsor.
This is the first in a series of events intended to draw Canada-based companies seeking to expand in the U.S. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from the U.S. Commercial Service (U.S. Consulate Toronto) and AmCham Canada member companies who will share advice and lessons on the benefits and challenges of expanding into the U.S. Specifically, attendees will learn about banking, tax, and legal considerations, specific state incentives, and U.S. government programs, initiatives and policies that facilitate expansion to the U.S.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the following AmCham Members who may assist you in Canada-U.S. investment and trade: Dan Ujczo, Of Counsel and Cross Border Business Development Director, Dickinson Wright; David Olsen, Regional President and Principal Officer, PNC Bank Canada; Julia Klann, Partner, US & Cross Border Tax Services, KPMG LLP; and Mindy McLaughlin, Senior Manager of Global Sales Operations, JobsOhio.
