The Detroit area celebration of World Intellectual Property Day will take place on Wednesday, April 20 at Lawrence Technological University in Southfield.
The event, scheduled from 5-8:30 p.m., is free and the public is welcome. The school is located at 21000 W. 10 Mile Rd.
This year’s theme is “Digital Creativity: Innovation in a Digital Age.”

• Joe Carr, entrepreneur, digital manufacturing consultant at LEAP Inc. and technology specialist at the East Lansing Public Library.
• Christopher R. Martella of Kemp Klein Law Firm.
• Kathy Ossian of Ossian Law PC.
