A partnership between Macomb County Clerk / Register of Deeds Carmella Sabaugh and Michigan Secretary of State Ruth Johnson gives residents the opportunity for one-stop shopping.
Customers needing a birth certificate to get a driver's license, or vice versa, can do it all in the same office.
From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today, representatives of the county clerk’s office will be in the Secretary of State’s North Macomb branch office, 51305 Gratiot, Chesterfield, just north of 23 Mile Road.
Residents can get help locally with Macomb County birth and death certificates, business registrations, marriage licenses, circuit court records, voter registration, concealed pistol license applications, real estate deed requests and veteran ID cards.
