The Information Technology Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan presented a free presentation on Cyber Security Risk Assessment & Best Practices featuring Chris Burrows (center), chief security information officer of Oakland County, on Thursday, Aug. 11, at the Board of Commissioners Auditorium at the Oakland County Courthouse in Pontiac. Burrows has more than 25 years of experience in risk management, information security, and IT operations. He has numerous certifications, including “Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional,” and has served on international IT security standard boards. Happy to present Burrows at the program were (l-r) IT Section Chair Susanna Brennan of General Motors and Joellen Shortley of Oakland County Corporation Counsel.
