The Macomb County Bar Association will present an Update and Discussion with members of the Michigan Indigent Defense Commission on Friday, Dec. 2 at the Macomb County Circuit Courthouse.
The informal update and discussion will feature Commissioners Frank Eaman, Brandy Robinson and Bill Swor as well as Marla McCowan, MIDC director of training, outreach and support.
The event is scheduled from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the fifth floor jury room. The courthouse is located at 40 N. Main in Mt. Clemens.
Topics of discussion will include updates about the work of the commission, the conditionally approved standards for indigent defense as well as future standards in development.
