Michigan State University College of Law alumnus Bob Worthington, (left, pictured with MSU Law Dean Larry Ponoroff), who is the Chief Operating Officer of Mercantile Bank of Michigan, shared stories over lunch with MSU Law students, about his path to the C-Suite and gave advice to students interested in entrepreneurial J.D. jobs. Prior to his current role, Worthington was a corporate attorney, certified public accountant, internal auditor and bank teller.
Worthington is from the Grand Rapids area. He has a Bachelors of Science in Accounting from Hillsdale College and formerly worked for Barnes and Thornburg, after serving as Vice President - Internal Auditor for Macatawa Bank.
