Seminar focuses on auto no-fault law

The recent Supreme Court decision in Covenant v State Farm has created more questions than answers for those who practice auto no-fault law. To attempt to answer those questions, the Michigan Association of Justice (MAJ) presented a MAJ plaintiffs member only “Covenant Evening Forum” on Tuesday, June 13, at the Westin Southfield.  Speaking at the event were (left to right) Dick Hillary of Miller Johnson who discussed “The Covenant Ruling”; Bryan Schefman of Schefman & Associates PC who spoke on “General Strategies for Provider Attorneys”; Scott Goodwin of Goodwin & Scieszka PC who looked at “The ‘Optics’ and Ethics of Provider Claims”; moderator Wayne Miller of Miller &?Tischler PC; Jerry Posner of Posner, Posner, and Posner who explored “The Plaintiff’s Perspective”; and Nick Andrews of Liss, Seder, & Andrews PC who talked about “Dealing Specifically with Anti-Assignment Clauses.”
