The new headquarters for the Troy law firm of McGinnis Chiappelli Spresser, P.C. was christened July 25 during an open house. Partners (l-r) David Chiappelli, Lise Spresser, and Donald McGinnis Jr. welcomed a host of guests to the event, which took place at the firm’s office at 2265 Livernois, Suite 350, just south of Big Beaver Road. McGinnis, a past president of the Oakland County Bar Association and a former longtime commissioner of the State Bar of Michigan, is the founder of the firm, which specializes in family law, criminal law, and mediation and arbitration work. Chiappelli, a Michigan State University alum, earned his law degree from the former Detroit College of Law and concentrates his practice in criminal defense law and driver’s license restoration. Spresser, who graduated from the University of Waterloo in Ontario and was awarded her juris doctorate from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, is a family law practitioner.
