The Jackson Area Estate Planning Council met Oct. 11 at Bella Notte in downtown Jackson. Guest speaker Amy N. Morrissey, an attorney with Westerman & Morrissey in Ann Arbor, presented: “Retirement Assets: Strategies and Solutions for Common (and some not-so-common) Concerns.” A former chairperson of the Probate and Estate Planning Section of the State Bar of Michigan and a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, Morrissey is a past president of the Washtenaw Estate Planning Council and a former chairperson of the Probate, Estate Planning, and Trust Law Section of the Washtenaw County Bar Association.
