Kaylon Wilson grew up in Taylor and graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in 2005.
After attending Henry Ford Community College for two years, she transferred to Wayne State University, graduating in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
In September 2010, Wilson enrolled at Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Ann Arbor.
As a student attorney, she worked for the Washtenaw County Public Defender Clinic, the Guardianship Review Project, the Washtenaw County Trial Court, and a family law firm based in downtown Ann Arbor.
After graduating from Cooley in January 2014, Wilson went on to work as an attorney at a small Taylor firm that focused on family law, Social Security disability, probate and bankruptcy.
Wilson joined the Ann Arbor firm of Reed Law Group, P.C. in January 2016. She is a member of the Washtenaw County Bar Association and the State Bar of Michigan Family Law section.
A resident of Flat Rock, Wilson hopes to move to Ann Arbor in the near future. She is also planning a trip to Greece next spring.
