Honigman’s Meredith Ervine named “Up & Coming Lawyer”
Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP is pleased to announce that partner Meredith Ervine was named an “Up & Coming Lawyer” by Michigan Lawyers Weekly. The recognition is for attorneys who display the ambition, drive, determination, and accomplishments that set them apart from their peers in their first 10 years of practice. Ervine practices out of the firm’s Grand Rapids office.
Over the course of her career, Ervine has worked on more than 65 securities offerings involving more than $11.3 billion. Earlier this year, she was named co-leader of the firm’s Securities and Corporate Governance practice group. Ervine counsels public company clients regarding compliance with the securities laws and rules of exchanges, governance best practices, and transactional and general corporate matters.
A Grand Rapids native, Ervine spent more than six years at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP in New York City before being recruited back to Michigan by Honigman. She is admitted to practice law in both Michigan and New York.
Ervine earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. She earned her B.A., with high distinction, from the University of Michigan.
Ervine serves on the board of the Grand Rapids Ballet and is a member of the Development and Education and Outreach Committees.
