Jackson County’s Annual Law Day is set Wednesday, May 2, with a buffet breakfast at 7:30 a.m. followed by a program at 8 a.m.
The event will be held at the Country Club of Jackson, 3135 Horton Road.
The event is free and open to the all Jackson area attorneys and support staff.
The theme this year is “Separation of Powers: Framework for Freedom,” featuring guest speaker Michigan Supreme Court Justice Richard Bernstein.
The Jackson County Bar Association will present the Liberty Bell Award and Legal Services will present an award for Pro Bono work.
