On Tuesday, May 22, the Book Club of the Federal Bar Association, Eastern District of Michigan Chapter, discussed “Killer of the Flower Moon—The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI” by David Grann. On hand to discuss the book at the Levin U.S. Courthouse in Detroit were (l-r) U.S. Attorney Matthew Schneider, FBA President Elect Saura Sahu, Tim Devine, Book Club Co-Chair David Fink, Ken Gold, U.S. District Court Judge Mark Goldsmith, Andrew Lievense, Book Club Co-Chair Andy Doctoroff, Ned Greenberg, Erica Fitzgerald, and David Atallah. The primary goal of the FBA Book Club is to facilitate an informal but elevated dialogue between the bench and the bar. The book club is non-partisan.
