The Jackson Police Department, in conjunction with the Jackson County Office of the Sheriff, Blackman-Leoni Department of Public Safety, and the Michigan State Police, held the annual Jackson Law Enforcement Memorial on May 9 at the CP Federal Square in downtown Jackson. The service, commemorating Jackson officers who gave their lives in the line of duty, included song, bagpipes, a gun salute, roll call and words from guests.
