The investiture of Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Carla Testani took place recently at the Italian American Banquet and Conference Center in Livonia. Testani, who was appointed to the bench by Gov. Rick Snyder last spring to fill the seat vacated by Judge Megan Brennan, spent nearly 20 years in private practice, most recently at the Fausone Bohn law firm specializing in family law. A past president of the Wayne County Family Law Bar Association, Testani is a member of the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan, the Federalist Society, the Incorporated Society of Irish American Lawyers and the Italian American Bar Association of Michigan. She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan in 1995 and her law degree from Wayne State University in 1998.
