Attorney honored for work with veterans

Attorney Michael Schloff (second from right), of Michael D. Schloff PLLC, recently was presented with the Western Michigan University Cooley Law School Integrity Award during the law school’s “Integrity in Our Communities” speaker series at the Auburn Hills campus. The Integrity Award is given to legal professionals who demonstrate the highest integrity in their profession. A former Marine and president of the Oakland County Bar Association, Schloff gives of his time to the OCBA Veterans Affairs Committee and Oakland County's Veterans Treatment Courts. Happy to present the award to Schloff were (left to right) Ashley?Cannon, president of WMU-Cooley Students for Personal and Professional Integrity Society; WMU-Cooley Assistant Dean Lisa Halushka; and WMU-Cooley Associate Dean Joan Vestrand. Hosted by the law school and the Society for Personal and Professional Integrity, the speaker series offers students, staff, and faculty an opportunity to hear legal professionals share their experiences on ethics, service or professionalism.
