To say that last weekend’s Bling Thing had a lot of bling-y jewelry is an understatement.
But it also had items for the home (including many lampshades), gifts and collectibles, and a small amount of beautiful clothes.
Shoppers could buy-buy-buy with a clear conscience, not only because the price was right for the donated goods, but also because the proceeds go to fund the wonderful programming at Hackley Public Library provided by the Friends of Hackley Library, hosts of the sale.
Among other sponsors, Quigley Draperies was back for the sixth year – and this is only the seventh time for the event.
