The Michigan Association for Justice (MAJ) recently hosted a plaintiff members-only evening forum titled “Techniques for Effective Voir Dire” at the Detroit Marriott Southfield. Speaking at the event were (left to right) Moderator Brian McKeen of McKeen & Associates PC and Anthony Randazzo of Secrest Wardle. Also speaking at the forum (but not pictured) was Oakland County Circuit Court Chief Judge Shalina Kumar. Organizers of the event said the discussion focused upon how to maximize opportunities to identify and excuse jurors who would kill a case.
