The annual Jackson Law Enforcement Memorial service, honoring fallen officers from Jackson and the state, was held May 8, at CP Federal City Square, in downtown Jackson. The memorial was hosted by the Jackson Police Department, in conjunction with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Blackman-Leoni Township Department of Public Safety and Michigan State Police. The service included a gun salute, bagpipes, a song, roll call and speakers.
