Join the Detroit Bar Association for a lunch seminar titled “Receiverships Racing Forward – What’s Around the Next Curve?” It will be held from 12-1:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 6 at Miller Canfield, 150 W. Jefferson Ave., 25th floor, in Detroit. The law related to receiverships continues to develop in Michigan at a rapid rate. This seminar will inform practitioners about basic receivership law, recent developments, expected changes to the law, and how to spot issues and navigate this volatile legal landscape. Panelists are Joseph Grekin, Schafer and Weiner PLLC; David Findling, The Findling Law Firm, PLC; and Gene Kohut, Conway MacKenzie. Leif Anderson, Leif K. Anderson, PLC and Brendan Best, Varnum PLLC, will moderate the seminar.
