The 5th Annual Purple 5K Run/Walk was held Oct. 12 on the University of Michigan’s north campus. The event, that attracted over 200 runners and walkers, is a collaboration between the University of Michigan Police Department, Washtenaw County Prosecutor’s Office, and SafeHouse Center. All proceeds go to SafeHouse Center, the Washtenaw County resource for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. The Washtenaw County Bar Association was once again a Mile Marker Sponsor.
