The Michigan Intellectual Property Law Association (MIPLA) hosted its October luncheon on Tuesday, Oct. 29, featuring guest speakers Tim Murphy (left) and Steven Susser (right) of Carlson, Gaskey, & Olds. Among those on hand to welcome the speakers to the lunch at The Skyline Club in Southfield was MIPLA President Karin Butchko (center), also of Carlson, Gaskey, & Olds. “We are going to be summarizing some practice pointers and tips relating to the International Trade Commission,” Murphy noted. “It’s a litigation proceeding pertaining to imported goods and there are some key differences between normal litigation and this specific type of litigation we’ll be summarizing.”
