WMU-Cooley Law School’s Student Bar Association hosted a panel presentation: “Know Your Worth,” at its Lansing campus on Oct. 29. The event gave students the opportunity to hear from professors and career professionals about how to position themselves when preparing for their legal careers.
Panelists included: WMU-Cooley Associate Director Karen Poole, Professors Mable Martin-Scott, Mark Dotson and Richard Henke, and Adjunct Professor Thomas Myers.
During the event, panelists gave students candid advice on how best to prepare for a legal career, such as networking, obtaining legal experience, studying hard and getting good grades. Most importantly, they advised students to seek out every opportunity available and put their best foot forward.
