Virtual job fair scheduled this week by Macomb/St. Clair Michigan Works!

Macomb/St. Clair Michigan Works! will hold a virtual job fair on Friday, Oct. 9, featuring more than 40 local businesses looking to fill over 300 job openings.

The job fair is free for all to attend. Space is limited and registration is required.

The fair will be split into two sessions. The morning session takes place from 9 a.m. ­– noon and the afternoon session from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.

If job seekers would like to attend both sessions, they will need to register for both separately.

“Macomb/St. Clair Michigan Works! is extremely excited to host such a large-scale virtual job fair,” said Jordan Geml, head of communications for Macomb/St. Clair Michigan Works! and the Macomb/St. Clair Workforce Development Board. “In a single online event, local job seekers will be immediately connected to over 40 local employers and over 300 employment opportunities.”

“We are amazed by the immediate support of our local employers and businesses for this brand-new event aimed at serving the community,” said Bob Apczynski, head of business & employment services for the Macomb/St. Clair Workforce Development Board. “While all of our spots for employers are full at this time, we have created a waitlist for our next event at a yet to be determined date.”
