The Federal Bar Association, Eastern District of Michigan Chapter, will present the 2020 Edward H. Rakow Luncheon with the Barbara J. Rom Award and Historical Society Presentation online on Thursday, Nov.12, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
This virtual luncheon will be preceded by “Small Group Socials” (SGCs) which are online social gatherings, with firm partners and individual ticket holders randomly broken down into smaller groups and attended by the judges of the federal bench.
The program will also feature the presentation of the Barbara J. Rom Award for Bankruptcy Excellence. The chapter established this award in 2012 to honor individuals who have exhibited the highest level of overall excellence in the practice of bankruptcy law.
Cost for the luncheon is $18 for FBA members and $28 for non-members and guests. To register, visit www.fbamich.org and click on “events.”
