The free display of festive lights and decorations at Hackley Park includes Santa, polar bears, toy soldiers, reindeer, a nativity, music makers, a Christmas train and more!

Join the Muskegon Area District Library storytime crew every week for books, music and more, in a virtual storytime that’s great for all kids of all ages. The next Storytime Online will be held 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, December 30.
This event will be shown on the Muskegon Area District Library Facebook page and YouTube channel.
Calling all aspiring writers!
Hackley Public Library offers a free creative writing group, “Left to Write,” currently being held online, with prompts over Facebook.
Anyone can participate by using the prompt to inspire your writing!
The next event is at 2 p.m., on Wednesday, December 30.
Once the library is hosting programs inside the library, it will host a special meeting to read over what people have written at home.
Teen Make &?Take: Cactus, set for January 4
Teen Take and Make Craft - Cactus is set for 3-3:30 p.m., Monday, January 4, 2021.
Jazz up any space with these cuddly, not-so-prickly ‘plants’. No watering necessary!
Free craft kits will be available to pick up from Hackley Library beginning January 4, nd while supplies last.
An instructional video will be posted to HPL’s Facebook on January 4 at 3 p.m. on Jan. 4 and 3 p.m. January 18.
