Butzel Long attorneys will discuss key provisions of a new round of Payment Protection Program (PPP) funding that was signed into law in late 2020 during a free webinar presented by the Michigan Manufacturers Association (MMA) on Tuesday, Jan. 19, from noon to 1 p.m.
On Dec. 27, President Trump signed into law the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021, which included several provisions related to the PPP first established under the CARES Act and the amendatory Flexibility Act.
Among the provisions of the bill was the creation of the “COVID-related Tax Relief Act of 2020,” which made several changes to the PPP structure and the “Economic Aid to Hard-Hit Small Businesses, Nonprofits, and Venues Act,” which established a second round of PPP funding.
