Examining the future of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau

The Practising Law Institute (PLI) will present "The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau: The Path Ahead" as a live webcast on Thursday, Feb. 25, beginning at 3 p..m.

The financial services industry faces another regulatory sea-change as the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) leadership changes hands.

Webcast attendees can join for a panel discussion of the CFPB's anticipated direction, related Congressional activities and interactions with the states:

  • The interaction between the CFPB and the States

Panel members for this program are Quyen T. Truong of Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP, former CFPB assistant director & deputy general counsel; Meredith Fuchs, general counsel of Plaid Inc., former CFPB deputy director; and Shennan A. Kavanagh, deputy chief of the Consumer Protection Division, Massachusetts Attorney General's Office.
