Online 'Evidence Boot Camp' slated for April 15 & 16

The Criminal Defense Association of Michigan will present "Evidence Boot Camp" via Zoom, 1 to 5 p.m. Thursday, April 15, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday, April 16 (no one-day registrations allowed).

This program offers hands-on small group skills training. Attendees do not have to take prior Boot Camps to attend. Speakers are Thomas C. Cranmer and Edward A. Bajoka.

A principal at Miller Canfield, Cranmer is the firm's Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group co-leader. With more than 40 years of courtroom experience, his practice focuses on white-collar criminal defense, complex commercial litigation and "bet-the-company" litigation.

Cranmer served as an assistant prosecuting attorney in Oakland County and an assistant chief of the Criminal Division of the United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Michigan.

He is a co-author of a Michigan treatise, "Civil Trials and Evidence," a contributing author to "Federal Civil Procedure Before Trial/Sixth Circuit," and he
has served as an adjunct professor of law for Western Michigan University Cooley Law School teaching Evidence.

Bajoka is the lead attorney and founder of Bajoka Law Group PLLC and You Are Home Immigration Law. He has represented individuals in almost every type of criminal case from the routine "DUI case" to some of the biggest white-collar criminal cases in state and federal courts. His immigration practice is focused on those who are facing deportation because of a criminal issue or conviction.
