Carrie E. Trimpe joins Bodman
Carrie E. Trimpe has joined Bodman PLC as an associate in the Grand Rapids office.
Trimpe focuses her practice on estate planning, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney, probate and trust administration, probate and trust litigation, and general civil litigation. Her services include developing and drafting estate plans and assisting with trust funding and titling issues. She also assists clients with probate and trust administration including probating estates, assisting with the management and administration of trusts, and representing clients in connection with trust and estate disputes.
She also has experience representing business clients, including owners of closely-held family businesses, in corporate law matters. She has represented corporate clients in connection with business formation and organizational issues, drafting and reviewing transactional documents, advising on legal compliance, and advising on business succession planning, among other areas.
Trimpe is a magna cum laude graduate of WMU-Cooley Law School where she earned several academic honors, including the Leadership Achievement Award and Jurisprudence Awards in Evidence, Scholarly Writing, Pretrial Skills, and Appellate Advocacy. She was also a national competitor at the Stetson University College of Law National Pretrial Competition.
She earned her undergraduate degree in paralegal studies from Davenport University in Grand Rapids,
Trimpe serves on the Board of Directors of the nonprofit Glass Art Kalamazoo.
