Two are co-chairs of Warner’s Labor and Employment Practice Group
Warner Norcross + Judd LLP partners Amanda M. Fielder and Jonathan P. Kok, from the Grand Rapids office, were named co-chairs of the Labor and Employment Practice Group.
Fielder concentrates her work in employment law and also co-chairs the Employment Litigation Practice Group. She regularly counsels and defends clients against cases involving consumer claims and supply chain disputes, including pricing disputes, breach of warranty claims and injunction actions.
She is recognized as a Rising Star by Michigan Super Lawyers and an Up and Coming Lawyer and a Women in the Law by Michigan Lawyers Weekly. The Grand Rapids Business Journal recognized her as one of the 50 Most Influential Women in West Michigan and one of the 40 Under 40 business leaders. She is a member of the Grand Rapids Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan, Federal Bar Association and American Bar Association and a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation.
Kok concentrates his practice in labor, employment and health law, assisting large public and private corporations in all industries on issues related to discrimination and harassment, unfair competition, disability and leave, as well as the design and negotiation of executive employment and compensation agreements. He also regularly handles union negotiations, arbitrations and National Labor Relations Board proceedings.
He has been named to Best Lawyers in America since 2014. He was selected as a Rising Star by Michigan Super Lawyers in 2008-15 and Best Lawyers’ Grand Rapids Employment Law Lawyer of the Year in 2019 and 2021. He has been named one of Michigan Lawyers Weekly’s Michigan Go To Lawyers for 2021. He also was named one of Grand Rapids Magazine’s Top Lawyers in Labor and Employment Law in 2020.
