Enter the Hackley Library Photo Challenge!
Have fun with Hackley Library’s Summer Photo Challenge! This free challenge will run from June 14 through August 14.
Each week, for 9 weeks, Hackley Library will post picture prompts on the HPL Facebook page. Using the prompt as inspiration, participants are invited to post/submit one picture a week to the HPL Facebook page with the relevant tags.
Submitted pictures will be gathered into folders for each prompt, and the public will be able to vote for their favorite pictures from each week by “liking” them.
At the end of the challenge, winners of each prompt will have their picture framed and displayed at HPL.

Summer Reading Program Gets Underway

Aneka Ingold: Transfiguration at the MMA
The Muskegon Museum of Art presents the paintings of Aneka Ingold, 2019 Bennett Prize winner.
Her paintings are presented alongside Rising Voices 2.
The MMA will feature artwork made during Ingold’s two years of Prize support. Her paint and colored pencil paintings merge intricate detail with flat and bold graphics to tell stories of womanhood, of her own experiences and those of women through history.
