White Lake Arts & Crafts Festival set this weekend
Come to Goodrich Park for the Annual White Lake Area Arts & Crafts Festival! Many talented and creative artists participate in this popular juried art show featuring variety of hand-made art & crafts such as jewelry, wood furniture, birdhouses, ceramics, items for the garden, clothing, paintings and prints, folk art, leather goods, floral designs, stained glass, signs, children’s toys, and bath items. There also are musicians, inflatable obstacle course and jump house, and food trucks.
The free festival is set 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 19 and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., June 20, Goodrich Park, 100 N. Lake Street Whitehall.
Operation Black Sheep Aquastar Powerboat Weekend Cruise
Be in the middle of all the action as the Aquastar leads power boats for the MPW Parade of Power down the Muskegon Channel. Join this 1.5 hour cruise and help raise funds for Big Brothers and Big Sisters Lakeshore, Operation Black Sheep, and the Grand Valley University Dance Team.

Turtles in Native American Culture
Presenter Deb Gutowski will talk about the importance of turtles in Native American culture, shows examples of how they were used, and talks about her clan, the Turtle Clan. Deb has worked with the Lakeshore Museum Center for over 25 years and is Ottawa and Potawatomi.
The event is noon to 3 p.m., June 24. Tickets are free to County Residents and Museum Members and $5 for non-residents. Space may be limited to in-person viewing based on COVID regulations. This presentation will also be presented virtually via Zoom.
