On June 28, the Jackson Police Department began demolition and construction of a new public entry into their building. During this construction period, the Police Department’s main lobby will be closed to the public for safety reasons.
In the interim, citizens can still conduct business at the Jackson Police Department by calling the number for the service they need:

Fingerprinting Sex Offender Registration
Copies of Police Reports / FOIAs Other General Questions
Any need for a police officer should be routed through 911. Even in a non-emergency situation – all officers are dispatched through 911.
