Summer Book Talks: ‘Day of Days’ by John Smolens
The Friends of the Montague Library have been hosting author books talks for over 20 years. This year, they are once again partnering with MADL and The Book Nook to bring Summer Book Talks to everyone. Join in for engaging talks and author insights on great books.
This event, about the 1927 bombing of a school in Bath, Michigan, is set 7 to 8 p.m., July 14. Watch the discussion live on Zoom or on the Muskegon Area District Library Facebook page.

West Michigan Symphony aims to reopen November 5
West Michigan Symphony is moving full steam ahead on plans to fully open concerts to live attendance at the start of the 2021-2022 Season, scheduled for Friday, November 5.
The Symphony will continue to offer the Virtual Concert option as part of subscriptions. People can watch the concert in person; then relive favorite moments later from the comfort of their living room.

In summer months, the WMS Office is open for walk-ins on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 360 W. Western Avenue, Suite 200.
Phone hours are Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to noon at 231-726-3231.
