Andrea Kahn joins Plunkett group
Plunkett Cooney, one of the Midwest’s oldest and largest full-service law firms, recently welcomed attorney Andrea L. Kahn to its Transportation Law Practice Group.
Kahn is an associate attorney in the firm’s Grand Rapids office. She has experience handling Michigan No-Fault law and motor vehicle negligence litigation involving personal injury protection claims. She also has expertise in the areas of business transactions, commercial litigation, family law and criminal defense.
Kahn received her law degree from Michigan State University College of Law and her undergraduate degree from Aquinas College.
She is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Grand Rapids Bar Association.
Steven K. Girard joins Warner
Labor and employment attorney Steven K. Girard has joined Warner Norcross + Judd as senior counsel. He will practice in the firm’s Grand Rapids office.
Girard brings more than 34 years of experience in labor and employment law, working with municipal, health care and business clients. He regularly serves as labor and employment counsel for Michigan counties and cities, focusing his practice on collective bargaining agreements, arbitrations, civil rights, and general labor issues.
Girard previously was a member at Clark Hill; and a founding partner of Nantz, Litowich, Smith, Girard & Hamilton. He previously served as General Counsel to the Michigan County Medical Care Facility Council He is a member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan and Grand Rapids Bar Associations.
Girard earned his law degree from Wayne State University Law School.
