Multi-Dove and Grammy Award-winning recording artist David Phelps will be featured at the Maranatha Bible & Missionary Conference, 4759 Lake Harbor Road, Norton Shores, 7:30 p.m., July 31.
Once a childhood musical prodigy from Tomball, Texas, Phelps earned a bachelor’s degree in music from Baylor University, and has become a nationally celebrated vocalist. Perhaps best known as the powerful tenor for the Gaither Vocal Band, Phelps is emerging as a leading voice in contemporary Christian music. He has performed at numerous venues, including the White House, New York’s Carnegie Hall and the Sydney Opera House in Australia, and has 14 solo albums to his credit.
