The University of Detroit Mercy School of Law’s Association of Black Law Alumni (ABLA) will host the ABLA Summer BBQ Bash on Saturday, August 21, from noon to 3 p.m.
Alumni, current students and friends of ABLA are invited to the first annual Summer BBQ Bash for grilled treats, good conversation and an opportunity to re-connect.
The bash will take place at the Detroit Mercy Law Student/Guest Parking Lot. Guests should park in the lot/deck located at 589 E Congress St. Entrance to this lot/deck is off Congress St., just west of St. Antoine St. Street parking may also be available.
Tickets for the bash are free. A minimum $10 donation or more is appreciated. All proceeds support the David Williams II ’82 & Gail Carr Williams ’83 Endowed Scholarship Fund to support Black law students.
The deadline to register for the bash is Wednesday, August 18.
