Oakland County Circuit and Probate Courts adjourn upcoming jury trials

On Tuesday, the Oakland County Circuit and Probate Courts agreed to adjourn all jury trials through Friday, February 25,  due to surging COVID numbers throughout Oakland County.

This decision was made after consulting with the State Court Administrative Office and the Oakland County Health Department for the health and safety of prospective jurors, litigants, attorneys, court staff, and jury trial participants, and to mitigate and reduce the transmission of COVID and the Omicron variant.

Jury trials are expected to resume on Monday, February 28, barring any unforeseen circumstances.  Questions about specific adjournment dates should be directed to the chambers of the assigned judge.

Questions can be directed to Karen Koshen at koshenk@oakgov.com or 248-858-0296.
