“The Business of the Law Firm” served as the theme of the 4th Annual State Bar of Michigan Business Law Symposium on January 20 at The Detroit Club, the beautifully restored building on Cass Avenue near the federal courthouse. The event, coordinated by attorney Mark Rossman of Rossman P.C. in Troy, attracted a crowd of more than 130 participants and an additional 50 who viewed the program online. Among the featured speakers was personal injury attorney Mike Morse (at right), the author of “Fireproof: A Five-Step Model to Take Your Firm from Unpredictable to Wildly Profitable.” Above left: Attorney E. Powell Miller, of The Miller Law Firm, served as the moderator of the roundtable discussion on “Entrepreneurial Strategies for the Pandemic,” while also participating in the panel discussion on “Law Firm Management in the Pandemic.”
