Circuit Court judge Michael Warren announces candidacy for the Michigan Supreme Court

Judge Michael Warren has officially announced his campaign for the Michigan Supreme Court. After serving more than 19 years on Oakland County Circuit Court, Judge Warren is seeking the Republican Party’s nomination for one of two slots on the state’s highest court.

Warren has tried more than 360 jury trials, which amounts to more than 3 years of presiding over jury trials. He has served as a trial judge with experience in the Business Court, felony docket, family docket, and general civil docket.

The International Association of Top Professionals, a New York based international organization, has recognized him as a Judge of the Year and Judge of the Decade, and entered him into its Hall of Fame. He has periodically taught constitutional law at Western Michigan University Cooley Law School, and has been recognized with awards by various bar and community organizations.

Warren co-founded Patriot Week (www.PatriotWeek.org) with his then 10-year-old daughter, which has been unanimously recognized by the United States Senate for the last three consecutive years, as well as by more than 15 states. He authored “America's Survival Guide, How to Stop America's Impending Suicide by Reclaiming Our First Principles and History” (www.AmericasSurvivalGuide.com), and is the host of the “Patriot Lessons: American History & Civics Podcast, the Patriot Lessons TV Show,” and the “Save Our Republic” video series. He also has written several articles regarding constitutional law, as well as played an instrumental role in modifying various court rules and legislation. In his “spare time,” Warren has run six marathons.
